Tunisian PM Fire 6 Related Shooting Brutal Police Officer at the Museum,. Tunis, - Prime Minister (PM) Tunisia Habib Essid sacked six police officers following a deadly attack on the national museum last week. They were dismissed, including officials responsible for the tourist security and intelligence brigade.



This was conveyed by the PM's office spokesman told Reuters on Monday (23/03/2015).

Brutal shooting in the Bardo National Museum in the capital Tunis on Wednesday (18/3), started when two armed men stormed into the museum and opened fire in the direction of the museum visitor. The visitors ran out, but the perpetrators had taken hostages are still in the museum.

Approximately two hours after the attack, the army and the local police with guns stormed the museum complete. Shootout ensued and two Tunisian soldiers shot dead actors. The hostages were then released.

Shooting at the Bardo museum, touted as the most deadly attack involving foreign nationals in Tunisia since the suicide bombing in Djerba in 2002.
