The Ministry of Defence of Serbia to make sure that no one had survived the helicopter crash. Seventh passengers of the helicopter confirmed dead.
Local television said the helicopter MI-17 Russian-made carrying four crew members. In addition, the helicopters were boarded by two media officers and a new baby was five days.
As reported by Reuters on Saturday (14/03/2015), the baby to be moved was known to suffer from respiratory illnesses and life-threatening, to be moved to get further treatment.
The accident itself occurred when the helicopter was nearing the Belgrade Airport. However, the conditions around the airport when it was covered with a thick fog.
Even some commercial flight was forced to abort the landing due to bad weather conditions. Reportedly visibility at the airport was very limited.
Serbian military has said it will conduct a thorough investigation related to this accident.
